Galerie Jabert's expert activity is carried out on behalf of various parties:

- Estimation of the textile heritage of private individuals, with a view to sharing or selling.

- Expertise before or after damage at the request of individuals or insurance companies.

-Expertise - Brokerage and accompaniment to Paris and Province auctions and private sales.

- An oral opinion is given free of charge. Either on good quality photos sent by email with a phone number attached. Or by bringing directly to the gallery by appointment.

-You will receive within 48 hours an objective, confidential and non-binding estimate based on the results of auctions of similar properties.

- The appraisals written on expert's letterhead are charged at 100€ HT, whatever the value of the object.

1. Expertise in antique tapestries and antique collector's rugs.

All tapestries and carpets proposed are subject to a thorough expertise. This allows us to situate the tapestry precisely in relation to the artist's work as a whole. Quality, state of conservation and historical value are the chosen criteria of analysis. In addition, we take care to gather as much information and knowledge about the piece as possible.

2. Sale by mutual agreement,

After expertise, a purchase offer at the best price will be proposed to you. Depending on your agreement, the payment will be immediately sent to you by bank transfer or cheque.

3. Brokerage,

We can act as an intermediary for collectors wishing to entrust us with works for sale. Our overall commission is 10% of the sale price.
